From May 4th to 6th, 2023, the Seventh Council Meeting of the China Aggregates Association and the National Aggregates Industry Green Development Summit were successfully held in Dezhou, Shandong province. At the same time, the Seventh President (Expansion) Meeting of the Seventh China Aggregates Association was held. Attending this meeting were the president, vice president, executive director, directors, consultants of the association, the presidents, secretary-generals, industry experts, representatives of member companies, media representatives and other relevant personnel of local aggregates associations. The meeting was hosted by the China Aggregates Association and sponsored by Jingjin Equipment Co., Ltd.

The meeting heard and reviewed and approved the "CAA's 2022 Work Report and 2023 Work Plan" reported by Deputy Secretary-General Zhao Jing(赵婧), as well as proposals on adjusting and supplementing the executive directors and director candidates of the Seventh Council of CAA. The meeting heard, reviewed and approved the report of Deputy Secretary-General Yang Xiaodong(杨晓东) on several scientific and technological work planned to be carried out by CAA in 2023. The meeting heard, reviewed and approved the report of Li Xiao(李晓) of the Science and Technology Department of CAA on the relevant standards to be compiled in 2023. The meeting listened to and reviewed and approved the report of Zhang Peng(张朋) of CAA’s Department of Information on news and publicity work of CAA.

In the keynote report, Hu Youyi analyzed the aggregate industry development status, market demand, and future development trend under the influence of the current economic operation, and he analyzed from the aspects of technology improvement, data statistics, modern industrial system and standard system construction. He also explained the path of building a green and low-carbon development system for the aggregates industry, and offered comprehensive strategic guidance for the green and low-carbon development for the audience.

Hu Youyi also introduced relevant documents of great importance to the development of the industry in recent years, the re-election of CAA, the relevant work of CAA in cooperation with ministries and commissions since the beginning of the year, as well as the recent major scientific and technological breakthroughs of the industry.

Liu Bo(刘波), Chief Scientist of Hubei Chu Dao Drilling Engineering Ltd., gave a presentation entitled "Supercritical Liquefied Air Energy Storage Non-supplementary Combustion Rock Breaking Technology". He said that supercritical liquefied air energy storage non-supplementary combustion rock breaking technology is not only the original technology of Chu Dao Drilling, but also an original technology applied in large-scale mining in open-pit mines. It has several outstanding advantages. First, the technology is green, low-carbon, safe and low-cost, focusing on solving the cost problem in blasting construction in mines. Second, at the same time, it solves the tense and contradictory situation of the mine-land relationship in the blasting construction (such as safety distance control and land occupation, resettlement and relocation, etc.). Third, it alleviates the environmental problems caused by the high pulverization rate of large-scale sand and gravel aggregate mines. At the same time, it can solve the problems of blasting vibration and secondary hazards, waste of resources and noise emissions in mining, which is a good supplement to the existing blasting. The mining technology is an important supplementary technology to the traditional explosive blasting method and can be used in large-scale non-explosive rock breaking operations.

Executive Vice President Wei Baoquan gave a presentation entitled "Dust Control Technology Equipment and Application in the Process of Ore Processing and Utilization". He pointed out that Xuzhou Boyuan Technology Co., Ltd. is a leading provider of mine dust control solutions and products in China. The company has a Jiangsu Province (Boyuan) high-pollution industrial building purification and dust removal engineering technology research center and a postdoctoral innovation practice base. It authorized more than 50 national patents and software copyrights, and its "key technology for dust partition prevention and control in the process of ore mining and utilization" was successfully selected into the "Catalogue of Advanced and Applicable Technologies for Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of Mineral Resources" (2022 Edition) by the Ministry of Natural Resources )".

He also introduced a French case: particle size control of secondary crushing circuit in his report.
