China Aggregates Association will hold the 9th China Aggregates Technology Conference in Wuhan from 16th to 18th August. It is the first national conference of Chinese aggregates industry after the Covid-19 epidemic controlled this year.

The conference is to hold to amid the complex and difficult landscape. At present, we are facing great challenges amid the persistent pandemic, and for the first time in history, major economic sectors have been hit hard, the operation of the global industrial chain and supply chain has been blocked, trade and investment activities have continued to slump, and Chinese economic development is also facing shrinking demand, supply shock and the weakening of expectations which are the major three difficulties, and the downward pressure has further increased. At the same time, the development of Chinese aggregates industry has also undergone profound changes: the industry is affected by the lack of newly started infrastructure projects, the reduction of investment in real estate development, and the reduction of regional mines, and is also facing problems like excessive allocation of mining rights, overcapacity, and the aggregates price drop.

The conference will bring together leaders, experts and relevant industry practitioners from upstream and downstream aggregates industry to exchange and share new technologies, new progress, new concepts and new models in the aggregates producing and equipment industry, promoting exchanges and cooperation between enterprises, and grasping the development trend of the industry as well as regional market changes.

The theme of this year's CAA technology conference is Strengthening Scientific and Technological Innovation, Building Industrial Ecology and Serving National Construction. The event will include thematic presentations, panel discussions, thematic forums, and networking opportunities.

Concurrent events: The 7th Standing Council of China Aggregates Association, the "14th Five-Year" Development Planning Panel of the Aggregates Industry, the Yangtze River Basin’s Aggregates Industry Development Forum, Aggregates Standardization Construction Forum, the National Construction Solid Waste Comprehensive Utilization and Ecological Restoration Forum, National Aggregates Technology and Equipment Exhibition.
