On September 15, 2022, the 2022 Concrete Industry Intelligent Production and Carbon Emission Reduction Technology Exchange Conference with the theme of "Intelligent Upgrade, Low-Carbon Future" was held in Luoyang, Henan.

Hu Youyi, President of China Aggregates Association, was invited to deliver a keynote speech.
Hu Youyi said that under the current international and domestic economic situation, the major measure to boost the economy is accelerating the construction of major projects, which will be beneficial to aggregates, concrete and equipment industries and companies. He also emphasized that the aggregates and concrete industry needs to constantly seek innovation, build an industrial ecology, and follow the path of green, low-carbon and high-quality development.

Song Shaomin, a professor at Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, gave a keynote speech entitled "Research on the Cementitious System and Mixing Ratio Design Method of Machine-made Sand Concrete". Song Shaomin pointed out that in the past five years, machine-made sand has rapidly replaced river sand as the main sand source for construction sand, and we have entered a great era of using machine-made aggregates to prepare and apply concrete!
