In January, due to the New Year's holiday, most aggregates producing enterprises stopped production and construction sites were shut down, resulting in a decrease in overall aggregates production and demand. The prices of sand and gravel in many parts of the country have remained stable, with a slight increase in Shanghai and a decline in some areas of Gansu province. It is worth noting that the prices of sand in Dongting Lake and Poyang Lake along the Yangtze River have decreased by 10 yuan/ton.
In the eastern region of Chongqing, the price of gravel below 25mm rose by 2 yuan/ton, and the price of gravel (10-16mm) was around 39 yuan/ton.
In Shanghai, the prices of natural sand, manufactured sand, and crushed stone had a slight increase, with an increase of about 2 yuan/ton.
In Yongjing, Yuzhong, and Tianshui regions of Gansu province, the prices of sand and gravel have decreased, with an average decrease of about 10 yuan/ton.
The sand in Dongting Lake and Poyang Lake along the Yangtze River decreased throughout the line, with a general decrease of around 10 yuan/ton. Nanjing Port natural sand (Dongting Lake sand 2.0-3.0) was 87-94 yuan/ton, a decrease of about 10 yuan/ton; Nantong Changyuan (Dongting Lake Sand 2.0-3.0) is 88-94/ton, a decrease of about 10 yuan/ton.
