China Aggregates Association calculated the national aggregate prices in February 2024 from some representative companies. Aggregates prices have remained stable in most regions of North China, Southwest China, South China, and Central China. Among them, prices in East Chongqing have a slight change. Aggregates price in some ports along the Yangtze River in East China have generally dropped. It is worth noting that the prices of aggregates in Dongting Lake and Poyang Lake along the Yangtze River have declined for two consecutive months. Compared with December 2023, the decline rate is as high as 16 yuan/ton. Details are as follows:
The price of gravel (10-20mm) in the eastern Chongqing area increased by 5 yuan/ton, and the price of high-quality manufactured sand increased by 3 yuan/ton.
The prices of manufactured sand and gravel in Xiangtan area of Hunan Province dropped by an average of 3 yuan/ton.
Sand prices at ports along the Yangtze River in Dongting Lake and Poyang Lake dropped across the board, generally at around 5 yuan/ton. Natural sand in Nanjing Port (Dongting Lake sand 2.0-3.0) is 87-90 yuan/ton, a decrease of about 4 yuan/ton; Huaian Port (Panyang Lake sand 2.2-2.8) is 93-96/ton, a decrease of about 6 yuan/ton.
