On September 26, 2022, the official launching ceremony of the Huaxin Cement (Yangxin) 100 million-ton machine-made aggregates project was grandly held. Hu Youyi, president of China Aggregates Association, was invited to attend and participate in the launching ceremony.
According to information from Huaxin, Huaxin (Yangxin) 100 million tons of machine-made aggregates producing project will use 1.751 billion tons of limestone for construction for 25 years and the project invested about 10 billion yuan!
In recent years, Chinese state government has attached great importance to the development of the aggregates industry. Multiple departments of the state have successively issued “Opinions on Promoting the High-quality Development of the Machine-made Aggregates Industry” and “Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Healthy and Orderly Development of the Aggregates Industry”, the aggregates industry has received high attention and strong support from all walks of life, and the industry has entered the fast lane of high-quality development.

Huaxin 100 million tons of machine-made aggregates producing project is currently the world largest. The project fully utilizes the technical advantages accumulated by Huaxin Cement Co., Ltd., integrates a number of the latest scientific and technological achievements in the industry, and has a high level of automation, intelligence, greening, and comprehensive utilization of resources. It is a demonstration project of green development of aggregate industry. At the beginning of the project design, the comprehensive utilization of resources was considered, and 2.1 billion pieces of machine-made bricks will be produced at the same time of the production of machine-made sand and gravel. The project will alleviate the imbalance between supply and demand of aggregates in Hubei Province to a large extent, set a model for the green, low-carbon, high-quality development of the national aggregates industry, and will promote the economic recovery and steady growth of Hubei Province. It will play an important supporting role, drive the economic development of Huangshi City, Hubei Province and even the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, become a model of coordinated development with local economies, and create greater economic and social benefits.
Hu Youyi hopes that Huaxin Cement will strictly control product quality and energy consumption indicators, and efficiently serve national construction during the operation of the project; extend the industrial chain in a timely manner, build an ecological park, and build the project into a world-class green, low-carbon and high-quality benchmarking production line.
Huaxin (Yangxin) 100 million tons of machine-made aggregates producing project is invested and constructed by Huangshi Huaxin Green Building Materials Industry Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 10 billion yuan. It is located in Binjiang Industrial Park, Fuchi Town, Yangxin County, with a factory area of more than 1,800 mu (1,200,000 square meters). It adopts international advanced equipment, build a project with an annual output of 100 million tons of machine-made sand and gravel with high safety and environmental protection standards (the proportion of machine-made sand products is about 60%), and comprehensively utilize the soil and waste outside the mine to build environmentally friendly wall material production factories, using information technology to build green mines, digital factories, and smart terminals.
According to CAA, the mining area is about 4.41㎞², with a total resource reserve of 2.135 billion tons, including 1.751 billion tons of limestone for construction, with a service life of 25 years and a construction period of 2 years. Huaxin (Yangxin) 100 million tons of machine-made aggregates project invested 10 billion yuan. The project started on December 28, 2020. The first-phase annual production capacity of 50 million tons will be put into operation in September 2022, and the second-phase annual production capacity of 50 million tons is planned to be put into operation at the end of the year 2023.
The wharf has a 1,030-meter deep-water coastline of the Yangtze River, with 8 new berths and ships of 5,000 to 10,000-ton capacity, and will be constructed in two phases. The wharf is 2km away from the factory, and the product transportation will adpot a fully enclosed corridor. There are 4 storage warehouses in the land area (diameter 70m x height 37.5m, single warehouse capacity reaches 50,000 tons) with intelligent adjustment. The whole system adopts 5G intelligent algorithms to promote the deep integration of information technologies such as the Internet, Internet of Things, and big data in the fields of warehousing, logistics, and sales, and rebuild the Huangshi Smart Port of 100 million tons.
