On the morning of September 26, 2022, the official launching ceremony of the Huaxin Cement (Yangxin) 100 million-ton machine-made aggregates production project was grandly held. The ceremony marks the official completion and operation of the world's largest green machine-made aggregates base under construction, which not only injects strong momentum into Huaxin's transformation and upgrading, but also plays an important role in promoting the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. Hu Youyi (胡幼奕), president of China Aggregates Association, was invited to attend and participate in the launching ceremony.

According to Huaxin, the project will use 1.751 billion tons of limestone for construction, with a service life of 25 years and a total investment of 10 billion yuan!

The project is supported by the central government to recover the economy of Hubei after the outbreak of Covid-19 epidemic and it is also a supporting project of Huaxin Huangshi Centennial Rejuvenation Base. The total investment of the project is 10 billion yuan. The factory covers an area of more than 1,200,000 square meters. The production line adopts international advanced equipment and technology. It will create a circular low-carbon industrial park of building material in Yangxin County with the world's largest volume, the longest industrial chain extension, the highest level of science and technology, and a deep integration of industry and ecology.

Hu Youyi, on behalf of the China Aggregates Association, expressed his heartfelt congratulations on the smooth launching of the project! Hu Youyi hopes that Huaxin Cement will strictly control product quality and energy consumption indicators, and efficiently serve national construction during the operation of the project; extend the industrial chain in a timely manner, build an ecological park, and build the project into a world-class green, low-carbon and high-quality benchmarking production line.

Facing new challenges brought about by profound changes in the domestic and foreign environment, Huaxin will stick to the original intention of serving the country through its development, fully, accurately and comprehensively implement the new development concept, firmly adhere to low-carbon and sustainable development, and strive to turn Huaxin, a century-old company, from a domestic industry leader to a world-class enterprise, to build a green transformation demonstration zone for Huangshi, and make new and greater contributions to building a new socialist modernization of Huangshi with stronger comprehensive strength.

He said that large projects promote great development, and the Yangxin County Party Committee and the County Government will make development priority, take Huaxin as an important partner, and providing Huaxin with priority in providing services, ensuring employment, and scientific and technological support. Yangxin County government will play the role of coordination and problem solving to escort the follow-up development of the project.

Huaxin machine-made sand and gravel project is an important measure for Huaxin to optimize the industrial chain and improve the value chain. It will inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of Huaxin, and provide strong support for Huangshi to accelerate the transformation from an upstream raw material base to a midstream new material base. When all completed and put into operation, it will not only effectively alleviate the shortage of sand and gravel supply in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, but also vigorously promote ecological environmental protection and sustainable recycling of resources. It is hoped that Huaxin will continue to write a new century of glory, lay a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the national economy, and make greater contributions.
